Training

The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs provides training to all members of the University community on the University’s Policy on Harassment, Discrimination, and Sexual Misconduct.  The training opportunities for students, faculty, other academic appointees, staff, and postdoctoral researchers reflect the University’s fundamental commitment to values that promote the full participation of all members of our community.  As of July 1, 2016, sexual misconduct awareness and prevention training is mandatory for all students, faculty, other academic appointees, staff, and postdoctoral researchers at the university. The training addresses key aspects of the University’s Policy on Harassment, Discrimination, and Sexual Misconduct, including definitions, resources, processes, and reporting obligations.

The Office for Equal Opportunity Programs also provides supplemental training for campus departments or groups that are seeking additional in-depth content specific to these topics.  Additional online training topics include Tools for an Ethical Workplace, Managing Bias, and Accommodating Disabilities.
