Voices In Your Head: Show Me How You Burlesque

The new single by UChicago a cappella group Voices In Your Head, “Show Me How You Burlesque,” was recorded at the Logan Center using equipment and resources from the media center. A cover of a Christina Aguilera song, it was the opener of the 2015 International Championship of A Cappella set for which Voices were awarded second place at ICCA Finals in New York.

Voices member and music director Kari Wei explains, ” A cappella groups often use both the digital music studio and Logan Media Center equipment in order to record, edit, and even mix/master in various locations throughout the building. As more and more groups begin to strive towards self-sufficiency in the studio, the a cappella community’s relationship with the Logan Center and the many resources within will inevitably continue to grow.”
