The Religion and Ethics Workshop is proud to announce Robin Lovin, Cary Maguire University Professor of Ethics, Southern Methodist University, will be giving a talk on “Christian Realism and Humanitarian Intervention” on Thursday, May 10th @ 5pm in Swift Hall 106.  Prof Michael Reese, Committee on International Relations, UChicago, will be responding to Lovin’s talk.  Discussion to follow.

We will not be posting a paper, but in case you are interested in gaining some context for the talk, Prof Lovin will be offering reflections on recent humanitarian/legitimacy/sovereignty issues in relation to the framework he develops in Chapter 5 of his book “Christian Realism and the New Realities.”
