Ilze Kalnina graduated with a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2009. She then worked as an assistant professor at the University of Montreal before joining the Poole College of Management, North Carolina University. Dr. Kalnina works on nonparametric estimation and inference for volatility with high frequency data.
