  • The Digital South Asia Library, a project at the University of Chicago, has made numerous maps and atlases of South Asia available online.
  • Professor Frances Pritchett of Columbia University has compiled and excellent collection of historical maps.

Images

  • The Digital South Asia Library, a project at the University of Chicago, provides access to several photographic archives of South Asia.
  • ARTstor in an online image database containing thousands of images of works of visual and sculptural art. It is available to UChicago students through the library website.
  • The Metropolitan Museum of Art has made a large part of its collections searchable online, with high quality images.
  • The Victoria and Albert Museum has a large collection of South Asian art that can be viewed online.
  • The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco provides images of quite a few of its South Asian items online.
