Dictionaries
- The Digital Dictionaries of South Asia is a project undertaken by the University of Chicago that provides online dictionaries in 34 South Asian languages.
- The Sanskrit-English Dictionary of Monier-Williams has been made available online by the University of Cologne.
Maps
- The Digital South Asia Library, a project at the University of Chicago, has made numerous maps and atlases of South Asia available online.
- Professor Frances Pritchett of Columbia University has compiled and excellent collection of historical maps.
Images
- The Digital South Asia Library, a project at the University of Chicago, provides access to several photographic archives of South Asia.
- ARTstor in an online image database containing thousands of images of works of visual and sculptural art. It is available to UChicago students through the library website.
- The Metropolitan Museum of Art has made a large part of its collections searchable online, with high quality images.
- The Victoria and Albert Museum has a large collection of South Asian art that can be viewed online.
- The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco provides images of quite a few of its South Asian items online.
