Our primary text for the course is Plato’s Meno; we will use the commentary of Geoffrey Steadman. For background, we’ll read snippets from other Platonic texts (Apology and Gorgias), Xenophon, the Suda, Pindar, etc. All supplementary readings will be provided in photocopy or in digital form.
