D&I Diaries Podcast

with your hosts, Camilla Frost-Brewer and Dr. Tobias Spears

The Beginning of Something New...

Our office is starting a monthly podcast on which we will interview various people throughout the BSD to dive into their DEI stories, ones they likely have not shared with others. Guests will discuss when DEI became real for them, what DEI means for the work they do, important inclusion lessons, as well as more anecdotes. With this podcast, we hope to reach current and potential BSD faculty, staff, and students. Listeners will want to tune in to hear about the impact of DEI on the personal and professional lives from everyday BSDers.

Goals

  1. Highlight and showcase diverse voices of everyday BSDers
  2. Create a space to authentically and candidly share our DEI stories, getting to know one another outside of our professional roles
  3. Engage a coalition of listeners who value DEI and increase interest in DEI conversations and work across the BSD

What to Expect

Camilla Frost-Brewer and Dr. Tobias Spears will be your co-hosts, interviewing and reflecting on the stories from some of our BSD colleagues.

You can expect a 30-40 minute episode on the 3rd Tuesday of every month streaming on all services where you listen to podcasts. There will be a set of questions the co-hosts will ask of the guests, through which DEI stories, insights, and lessons will be uncovered by engaging in a comfortable and casual conversation.
