Associate Dean of Students

Anita Lumpkin joined the Divinity School in February 2018 after serving in student affairs and financial aid positions at Loyola University and Northwestern University. A graduate of Loyola’s Masters of Education program with a focus in Higher Education Administration, Dean Lumpkin is also an alum of Lake Forest College and a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.

Area Assistants

The Area Assistants aid the Dean of Students Office in serving current students. A large part of their work involves supporting the doctoral qualifying exam process through arranging faculty and student schedules, providing copies of old exams to students, and managing student questions and concerns about the qualifying exam process. They also aid the Dean of Students Office in managing events including Orientation, Admitted Students Day, and Convocation. Recruitment and Admissions Assistant

The Recruitment and Admissions Assistant supports the Dean of Students Office in managing the recruitment and admissions process. Their work includes answering inquiries from prospective students, assisting with recruitment and admission events, following up with accepted students to answer questions, and helping arrange Admitted Students Day.
