Join us for a showcase of student research projects from this year’s Calumet Quarter!

Students in the Program on the Global Environment’s Calumet Quarter are part of an innovative example of cooperative conservation which brings together scientists, planners, community groups, local residents, and businesses to revitalize the local economy and ecological riches of the region. Students will present their three final site-specific technical reports on Pullman/Lake Calumet, Indiana Dunes, and Big Marsh Complex.

The Calumet region extends along the lake from Chicago’s south side to Michigan. Offered in the spring, he undergraduate Calumet Quarter integrates four courses, guest lectures, stakeholder meetings, community environmental projects, weekly field trips, outreach, and student research.
