January 29 – Brian Sandberg “Conversion, Confessional Politics, and Violence in the Final Stages of the French Wars of Religion, 1598-1629.”

Dear EMMW participants,
Please join us next Monday, January 29 at 5pm in Rosenwald 405 for a lecture by Brian Sandberg (Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Affairs and Professor of History at Northern Illinois University) entitled “Conversion, Confessional Politics, and Violence in the Final Stages of the French Wars of Religion, 1598-1629. There will be no pre-circulating materials.
As always, light refreshments (inclduing grapes) will be served.
