Robin Berman

Associate Director for Office for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Support

Robin serves as the Associate Director of the Office for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Support, where she is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions associated with the University’s response to sexual misconduct, including Title IX and VAWA compliance obligations, student support services, and training/education initiatives.

Robin brings over 8 years of experience working in gender-based violence education, support, and advocacy to her role in the Office for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Support. She most recently served as the Senior Health Educator and Advocacy Coordinator at Loyola University Chicago, where she coordinated and implemented gender-based violence prevention education for students, faculty, and staff, integrating key elements of diversity and inclusion practices into content. She also served as the primary confidential advocate to support students who had experienced gender-based violence.

Robin has previously worked at the University of Chicago, serving as a Project Manager in a community-based sexual and reproductive healthcare research lab. Robin is a proud graduate of the University of Iowa where she completed a Master’s of Social Work, a Graduate Certificate in Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. While at Iowa she also served as the Coordinator of Leadership Programs at the Women’s Resource and Action Center.
