Amara Balan

Amara Balan

Amara Balan is a third year in the College majoring in Economics and Psychology. She joined the RSVP Programming Center because she is passionate about educating her peers about sexual violence and healthy relationships in a collegiate environment. She is also the chair of the Student Government committee for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention and works in the Office of Sports Information and Development. She is originally from New Jersey and loves dogs, nonfiction, the Museum of Natural History, and New Jersey. This is her second year with the RSVP Programming Center.

Madison Johnson

Madison Johnson

Madison Johnson is a third year in the college majoring in Comparative Human Development and Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is currently working as a Prevention and Recovery Services intern with the Chicago Women’s AIDS Project, and is looking forward to a career in social work. She loves video games, all of the Hyde Park cats, and theater – she will be stage managing a production on campus this fall. This is Madison’s third year with the RSVP Programming Center.
Eilis Fagan

Eilis Fagan

Eilis Fagan is a second year graduate student pursuing the clinical track at the School of Social Service Administration. Prior to her enrollment in graduate school, she worked in Madison, WI as youth counselor and advocate at the Rape Crisis Center for three years. Eilis is currently a member of the University of Chicago’s Sexual Misconduct Student Advisory Board and teaches yoga on campus. In her free time, you can find Eilis snuggling her cats or running by the lake. This is Eilis’ second year with the RSVP Programming Center.
