Join us TONIGHT, Thursday, February 2 from 6:00–7:30pm CT (note the later start) in Logan 802 for the second meeting of the winter quarter! This session will be a panel and open dialogue about fieldwork. We often go into the field and figure out (and are still figuring out) how to do what we do. While we may build friendships with our interlocutors, it is rare that we get direct feedback from them on how we are doing. Not only is this an open conversation where you can ask interlocutors your own questions, but Varshini and I both sent our chapter drafts that investigate the lives of our two guests to them. This might also lead to some important conversations around analysis and representation within academia.
