Sam Clark
Writer, Editor
Sam Clark is a Fourth-Year pursuing a degree in Environmental and Urban Studies, with a focus on climate change, imaginations of catastrophe, and the destruction and building of worlds. He is a Special Projects Researcher within the Mayor’s Office of Chicago, as well as landscape painter and video/installation artist, focusing on explorations of surrealist and apocalyptic imagery.
Claire Potter

Claire Potter is a Fourth-Year majoring in English literature and American history. She is currently a research intern for the Axe Files, David Axelrod’s podcast with CNN. During the summer of 2019, Potter reported on the Iowa caucuses for ABC Politics. Last winter, she assisted Nathaniel Rich, a New York Times Magazine writer-at-large, with his recently published book Second Nature: Scenes from a World Remade. She is also a Pulitzer Center Student Reporting Fellow and will be reporting on the activists and urban planners reintroducing wetlands and rivers into Mexico City.

Julia is a third-year Creative Writing and Urban Studies major at the University of Chicago. When she is not writing, she can be found advocating for utility accountability and community energy or painting watercolors.
