Kilwins Hyde Park, located at 5226 S. Harper Avenue, is ramping up for its busy holiday season by hiring three new staff members.
Owned and managed by Jackie Jackson since December of 2012, Kilwins is known for its array of sweets – including 10+ flavors of fudge; caramel apples; nut brittles; caramel corn; and hand-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries, pretzels, and cookies. The store also offers ice cream cones, specialty sundaes, milkshakes, and custom ice cream cakes, as well as coffee and hot chocolate drinks.
Jackson commented, “Fall and winter is always a busy time for us, with family and corporate gift-giving, stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, and holiday entertaining, and we are looking forward to expanding with three new staff members.”
Available positions include:
Store Manager – must have City of Chicago Food Sanitation Certification* and experience in food-related retail sales and management.
Confectioner/Candy Maker – must have City of Chicago Food Sanitation Certification* and experience making fudge and other confections.
Outside Sales Representative – results-oriented sales representative for corporate account and holiday gift-giving. Experience in food-related sales a plus.
