Genomics Facility

Micro-arrays

The University of Chicago Genomics Facility operates an Illumina IScan and can process all currently available Infinium arrays (Genotyping and Epigenetic).

Genomics Facility contact email: #SRF-GCFarrays; GCFarrays@bsd.uchicago.edu, for project initiation and progress.

The starting point for genotyping experiments are (high quality) DNA samples provided in 96-well format (per sample 10 ul @ 50 ng/ul, measured using a fluorometric assay). Randomize your samples before submitting to the Core and when submitting less than 96 samples, contact the Core to find out which wells on the plate need to be used.

The starting point for epigenetics experiments are (high quality) DNA samples provided in 96-well format (per sample 50 ul @ 20-25 ng/ul), measured using a fluorometric assay). Randomize your samples before submitting to the Core and when submitting less than 96 samples, contact the Core to find out which wells on the plate need to be used. Bisulfite conversion is included in the Core protocol.
