During a one-day professional development course at the 2013 annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), The users received a folder containing Stata, SAS, R, and SPSS code for MMWS analysis of a binary or a multivalued treatment and a data example.

The workshop materials can be downloaded from here.

Stata, SAS, R, and SPSS code for MMWS analysis of a binary treatment:

STATA files (prepared by Rachel Garrett)
“AERA 2013 MMWS STATA code_binary.do”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.dta”

SAS files (prepared by Yihua Hong)
“AERA 2013 MMWS SAS code_binary.sas”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.sas7bdat”

R files (prepared by Bing Yu)
“AERA 2013 MMWS R code_binary.R”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.dat”

SPSS files (prepared by Guanglei Hong)
“AERA 2013 MMWS SPSS code_binary.sps”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.sav”

Stata, SAS, R, and SPSS code for MMWS analysis of a multivalued treatment:

STATA files (prepared by Rachel Garrett)
“AERA 2013 MMWS STATA code_multivalue.do”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.dta”

SAS files (prepared by Yihua Hong)
“AERA 2013 MMWS SAS code_ multivalue.sas”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.sas7bdat”

R files (prepared by Bing Yu)
“AERA 2013 MMWS R code_ multivalue.R”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.dat”

SPSS files (prepared by Guanglei Hong)
“AERA 2013 MMWS SPSS code_ multivalue.sps”
“K_ELL_T2LEARN_exercise.sav”

For all these command files, the data example includes variables selected from the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study-Kindergarten cohort (ECLS-K 1998) public-use data. This data example is analogous to the data used for illustration in Chapter 4 of the book.

Users familiar with one of these statistical software programs should save the data file and the code in the following directory:
