“Recuperation as Praxis in Lingua Ignota’s SINNER GET READY“

My thesis explores the concept of recuperation in the album SINNER GET READY, performed by the artist Kristin Hayter under the moniker Lingua Ignota. I argue that recuperation is a form of feminist praxis and that any feminist analysis of musical emotion must consider the real-life listener.
