I received my Ph.D. and master’s degrees in economics and another master’s degree in quantitative finance from the University of Chicago.
My research interest is at the intersection of finance, applied economics, and labor, especially the economic and social effects of financial markets and institutions.
My dissertation studies the relationship between finance and the real economy. Specifically, between banking regulation and equality: the impact and the transmission mechanism, both empirically and theoretically. Download here: The Effects of Financial Deregulation on Wage Inequality.
