April 18: Jordan Skornik, PhD candidate in Hebrew Bible, title TBA
May 2: Allison Gray, PhD candidate in New Testament studies, will be offering a public defense of her dissertation, “Weaving Lives for Virtuous Readers: Gregory of Nyssa as Biographer” (This event is hosted by Early Christian Studies Workshop)
May 9: Jacqueline Vayntrub, Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies, Brandeis University “Beauty, Wisdom, and the Poetics of Description in Proverbs 31:10–31”
May 23: Jaime Waters, Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible, DePaul University, will present a paper on threshing floors in Ancient Israel.
