Gender and Monstrosity in Second Temple Apocalypses.”

Welcome to the Spring Quarter! We are pleased to announce the upcoming schedule for the Hebrew Bible Workshop, and are especially happy to be joined this quarter by Rebecca Raphael, a Senior Fellow this year in the Martin Marty Center, as well as Ron Hendel, Professor of Hebrew Bible and Jewish Studies at UC Berkeley.   • *Thursday*, May 3rd at 5 pm – Ron Hendel, Norma and Sam Dabby Professor of Hebrew Bible and Jewish Studies, University of California at Berkeley – “Exodus, Conquest, and the Alchemy of Memory”
  • Monday, May 21st at 5 pm – Richard Zaleski, PhD Candidate, New Testament and Early Christian Literature (Divinity) – on Philo of Alexandria’s Life of Moses
