It may happen that pressing “On” on the control panel in a conference room does not turn on the TV, which can prevent you from displaying your laptop. This often happens because the previous user did not turn off the TV with the control panel, so the television enters a power-saving mode. In this case, follow these steps:
- Unplug your laptop from any display cables.
- Press the “Off” button on the control panel.
- Turn the TV off manually by pressing the “Power” button on the left back side of the display.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Use the control panel to turn on the television as per usual.
- Select the proper input option (HDMI or VGA).
- Finally, plug the cable into your laptop.
