Project Description: The University of Chicago currently uses two primary Bulk Mail distribution products: Sympa and Emma. Sympa is text only and is used for only specific purposes (when branding and aesthetics are unimportant). Emma is used for most bulk mail distribution. Replacing Emma is the intent of this project
Project Purpose/Business Need: Emma requires replacement because the company that recently bought out the product changed the operation of Emma. Emma messages now mustinclude opt out functionality. The University of Chicago requires the ability to restrict/eliminate the opt out functionality and Emma refuses to accommodate the University need.
