Project Description: IT Services has purchased an Enterprise license for GitHub, a code management application. This project will define the environment and move ITS code to the enterprise. This will become a service that will be made available to faculty and students in the future.
Project Purpose/Business Need: We intend to move to a common platform where possible for code management in ITS. There may also be cost savings potential depending on what other tools are being used today, and the related costs.
Project Scope: Complete the definition of the Enterprise, migrate ITS areas, and make the service available as a service.
IT Partners Impacted by Project: No external areas will be impacted during the initial implementation of the enterprise. We will reach out to IT partners and other areas in the university to test the new service.
