My research interests cover ancient Greek religion,  Hellenistic and Imperial Greek technical literature, especially ancient ethnographic literature, and the history of classical scholarship.

I received my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in June 2018, after having completed my dissertation, After Aristotle and Before Theology: The Invention of Religion in Hellenistic and Imperial Greece. I have held research fellowships at the Collège de France and at the Institute of Classical Studies at the University of Leuven. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in Ancient History at the University of Toronto. I will take up a position as Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Toronto in July 2019.
