Prof. King was selected as one of the prestigious DOE Early Career Award recipients (see here). The proposed research titled “Drawing electronic structure on the nanoscale using switchable molecular interfaces” will probe how and why inhomogeneity on the nanoscale modifies electronic structure and properties of a material and methods for tuning the structure-function relationship using switchable molecular layers.
