Chairman and Former CEO, Martin-Brower Company, L.L.C.

After communicating his intention to retire, Robert (Bob) was promoted to Chairman to facilitate a smooth CEO transition and critical enterprise-wide leadership. In current role, Bob identifies areas to evolve Martin Brower’s long-term growth and people strategy and provides active counsel and coaching as CEO and teams execute against the strategy.

Bob served as Chief Executive Officer for Martin Brower from March 2015 – December 2021 and as Chairman from January 2022. Martin Brower is one of the largest Global Supply Chain Organizations in the QSR industry, primarily providing services to McDonald’s, Chick-Fil-A and Chipotle, some of the most recognized and valuable brands in the world. Martin Brower has operations in 18 countries, systemwide sales of more than $28 billion and revenues of more than $220 million. During Bob’s tenure as CEO, the Company increased sales by over 82%, and increased revenue by 47%.

CEO responsibilities included the leadership and development of all corporate strategies including Company Growth Strategy, Organizational Design, People Development, Diversity and Succession Planning, Technology and Infrastructure Strategy, Risk Management Strategy and Capital Strategy. In addition to delivering on the financial and growth strategies of the company, Bob was instrumental over the past 22 years in the development of the core values of the organization for more than 12,000 team members and the development and maintenance of the innovative and service-oriented culture of the Martin Brower Organization.

As COO, CEO and Chairman, Bob attended and presented at all Martin Brower’s Monthly Board Meetings for the past 14 years. He served on the Board for Martin Brower’s Middle East joint venture and South Korea joint venture and served as Vice -Chairman of the Board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (annual revenue of $10 million) for two years (served on Board for six years).

Prior to becoming Martin Brower CEO in 2015, Bob was the Reinhart Foodservice CEO in 2014 and Martin Brower COO from 2010 to 2014. He previously served in various positions in operations since 2000. Prior to Martin Brower, Bob worked at PepsiCo (9 years), Ralston Purina (2 years) and Sara Lee (5 years) in various operational and supply chain roles.

Bob has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University (1984) and MBA from Fuqua Graduate School at Duke University (2007). Bob is a values-driven person whose hobbies include sports, traveling and reading.
