Autumn 2013 Schedule

All meetings take place Thursday at 4:30pm in Foster 305 unless otherwise noted, and are followed by a small reception.

Papers to be read in advance are posted under the “Workshop Documents” tab one week prior to the meeting. All documents are password-protected. The password is circulated via the listserv.

Thursday, November 21: Søren Harnow Klausen, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Southern Denmark, “Existential Trajectories and Turning Points in Literary Fiction”


Monday, December 9: Michael Subialka, Powys Roberts Research Fellow in European Literature in St. Hugh’s College, Oxford, “Modernist Modes of Aesthetic Meaning: The Vampire, the Embalmer, and the Moment of Truth”
