The Creator

The Creator is a stop-motion animation piece by DoVA major Anna Tropnikova. It was featured in the 2016 DoVA BA Thesis Exhibition, and created using digital tools at the Logan Media Center.

Anna says:

“This project was created using a Canon T3i (DSLR camera), Photoshop and Final Cut Pro 10. To create an unmodulated lighting environment, I eventually abandoned an assortment of tripods and constructed a tall box, lined with white paper on all sides, that housed the camera, and used a flash for light. Raw files were imported and modified through Photoshop, and eventually, in sequence, compiled in Final Cut Pro 10.”
