Thanks to a generous gift from Mr. Faizal Syed (MBA ’93), we are honored to host a series of conversations with three medievalists on their past work, their latest book projects, and their views on the state of the field of Medieval Studies. Our guests will be joined in each conversation by a University of Chicago faculty member and a University of Chicago graduate student, who will have the privilege of reading and discussing our guests’ current work in progress. Attendees will also have access on this website to published work by our guests, which we hope will inspire questions for our guests during the event.
