We will be welcoming Mary Adekoya, Ph.D. candidate in Cinema and Media Studies; she will discuss “Between Excess and Poverty: The Political Implications of Visual Gaze and Narrative Pleasure in Nollywood Cinema,” a dissertation chapter in progress.
