4th Year graduate student Nikita Mehta represented the Mastrianni Lab at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Neurodegenerative Disease Conference this past weekend. Nikita presented her recent findings on the role of PrPC on intracellular trafficking of Aβ to the cellular membrane of neurons in TgAD/GSS model mice. She also discussed future plans for study of the interaction between PrPC and Aβ in primary neurons to create a more biologically relevant model. She did such a great job and we are so proud of her!
