Miller Woods Early Summer – Pt3

continued from Pt2.

 

Every direction you look is full of natural beauty.  You would never realize that just a few miles away were steel mills and other heavy industry.


Along the edges of the wetlands Iris’s were popping up.


Lupine now covered swaths of the hills.



Believe it or not I totally did not see this red moth when I took this photo.  I was so focused on the purple of the flower and trying to catch it in a moment of stillness in the light wind that I did not notice it until after I had downloaded the images from my camera.
