State Park Trail #2

Trail #2 at the Indiana Dunes State Park is one of the most interesting and richest trails in the park in terms of the flora you can see through out the year.  The full loop is about 3miles long and mostly flat so it is an easy hike.  What makes it special is that it through and along the Great Marsh which is actually more technically a swamp at this point.  In particular it features about a half-mile long boardwalk across the swamp.  As such the trail is excellent for wildflowers and fungi.
