Hunter Blaylock

Graduate student

Hunter is a Ph.D. student in the Committee on Cancer Biology.  He received his B.S. in Human Physiology with a Minor in Chemistry at the University of Oregon. Hunter has extensive experience in myelod neoplasia research, working in Dr. Julia Maxson’s lab as well as Dr. Shannon Elf’s.   Hunter is investigating the regulation of CUX1 levels with the aim to identify strategic targets for upregulating CUX1 levels in leukemia patients.  He is supported by the Multi-Disciplinary Training grant in Cancer Research NIH/NCI T32 CA009594.
