Weihan Liu

Graduate student

Weihan is a Ph.D. student in the Committee on Cancer Biology.  He received a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.  After graduation he spent two years in the lab of Myles Brown at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, resulting in a co-authored publication in Cancer Cell. Weihan is studying the cellular and molecular role of CUX1 in hematopoiesis.  He is supported by supported by the Women’s Board of the University of Chicago NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and was named the 2022-2023 Fitch Scholarship award recipient.
