USE THE TOOLS IN THE LAB
Computer Workstations
There are four workstations in the lab for use. Remote access is available, see here for more info. The following software is preinstalled. FEA: Ansys Mechanical, Thermal Desktop CAD: Vault, Fusion 360, Inventor, SolidWorks 3D Printer Slicers: Raise3D IdeaMaker, PrusaSlicer
Raise 3D Pro 2

Canon iPF770

A multi color printer used for standard sheet printing that can be accessed remotely
Creaform 3D Scanner
A handheld 3D scanner that can convert physical objects to 3D files for measurements, CAD design, and 3D printing. Training is required to use. Resolution: 10 microns More Info
BOSS HP-2436 Laser Cutter
A laser cutter capable of cutting a wide range of materials including metal. Training is required to use. Max Size: 2 x 3 ft More Info
Fabrisonic SL1200
An ultrasonic welding and CNC additive manufacturing machine capable of a wide array of parts and functions such as: Complex parts typically requiring 4+ axis Embedded probes, electronics, and internal features Dissimilar metal welding Max Size: 10 x 10 x 10 in This machine requires special training and guidance.
