Getting started up

Welcome back! سال نوی غربی مبارک باد ، وكل سنة وأنتم بخير

We are pleased to announce our call for papers for the 2011 MEHAT conference, which you can see over at our conference page. It’ll be a fun quarter of presentations and workshops, the tentative schedule of which you can see under the workshop heading. We’ll be started with the workshops probably next week—in the meantime, think about a paper to send us for the conference! The more the merrier!

In the meantime, allow me to recommend you go to a talk hosted by the South Asia Seminar Series:

C.M. Naim

Professor Emeritus of South Asian Languages & Civilizations, University of Chicago

“Individualism within Conformity: A Brief History of Waz’dārī in Delhi and Lucknow.”

January 6, South Asia Commons (Foster Hall room 103) at 4:30 pm
