Anissha has served as Administrative Director since October 2019. She oversees finance, grants administration, governance, strategic planning, and programmatic initiatives for the Institute and its nine labs. Anissha supervises the Institute staff.

Anissha has worked at the University of Chicago for over 13 years serving as the Assistant Director of Finance in the Department of Radiology, as the Executive Administrator for the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and most recently as the Director of Finance in the Department of Pathology.  

Prior to joining the University of Chicago she’s held several managerial positions focused on financial analysis, operations, and fund accounting at Rush University Medical Center where she worked for over 10 years.  Anissha has a robust accounting and management background which includes financial analysis, oversight of pre-award and post award administration, and wide-ranging operational activities.
