Our Research Focuses On:

Understanding the molecular biology of bacteria pathogenic to humans.

Investigating the means whereby bacteria cause disease or escape the immune system of infected hosts.

Developing vaccines and therapeutics to prevent or treat human infectious diseases.
We are affiliated with the Department of Microbiology at the University of Chicago.
Our research is conducted primarily at the Howard T. Ricketts Laboratory (HTL), located at Argonne National Laboratory.
