Meet our 2024-2025 Executive Board
Vikram Ramaswamy, Co-President
Vikram Ramaswamy is a fourth-year studying Political Science and Data Science. This is his fourth year competing on the Oral Advocacy and Brief Writing Teams. He is thrilled to return this year as one of the co-presidents and help the team hone creative, innovative, and exciting new legal arguments. Outside of Moot, Vikram can be found consuming way too many smoothies, falling down random Wikipedia rabbit holes, and convincing his friends and teammates to eat crickets.
Ryan Nguyen, Co-President
Ryan Nguyen is a fourth-year majoring in Political Science and Psychology. He joined Moot Court in the spring of his first year after a great information session. He is super excited to discuss cases and develop legal intuitions with the team, as well as find new opportunities for this upcoming season. In his free time, Ryan can be found arguing about sports, watching detective shows or researching Game of Thrones fan theories.
Inanna Khansa, Oral Advocacy Coach
Inanna Khansa is a third-year studying Economics and Mathematics. She joined the Moot Court team her first year after exploring the various legal RSOs on campus and has enjoyed legal writing and oral argument ever since! She is excited to delve into this year’s case law, meet new members, and run OA meetings this year. In her free time, Inanna loves playing violin, exploring Chicago, and occupying the black boards in Ryerson.
Henry Shi, Brief Writing Coach
Henry Shi is a fourth-year majoring in Economics and Computational and Applied Math. He joined Moot Court Spring Quarter of his first year to explore his legal interests and to meet people considering law school. He looks forward to helping all who are interested to explore important areas of the law and to improve their written argumentation skills. In his free time, he can be found binge watching Community for the sixtieth time.
Janice Cho, Vice President of Logistics
Janice Cho is a fourth-year majoring in Sociology and double minoring in Computer Science and Media Arts and Design. She joined Moot Court Brief Writing in her first year spring and Oral Advocacy in her second year spring. She looks forward to being very logistical this year. In her free time, Janice loves to bake, lift, and lay down.

Megan McLaughlin, vice president of marketing and recruitment
Megan McLaughlin is a third-year majoring in Political Science and Economics. She joined Moot Court in the fall of her first year and has enjoyed Brief Writing ever since. This year, she is very excited to welcome new members into the organization, fundraise for travel to competition, and dive into the cases for this season. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her dog and rewatching Grey’s Anatomy.
Sid Shah, vice president of administration
Sid Shah is a third-year studying Chemistry and Economics. He joined Moot Court in the fall of his first year after attending a Brief Writing practice. He is looking forward to continuing brief writing and getting to know both newcomers and returners. In his free time, Sid enjoys cooking and hanging out with his dog.
Zachary Harrison, Vice President of Representation and Inclusion
Zachary Harrison is a third-year studying Economics. This is his third year competing on the Oral Advocacy team. He is excited to ensure newcomers feel welcome in Moot and looks forward to working on implementing new mental health programs. Outside of Moot, he can be found drinking matcha and playing the saxophone.
Elisabeth Snyder, Assistant Coach of Oral Advocacy and Event Director
Spencer Lee, Assistant Coach of Oral Advocacy
Spencer Lee is a second-year majoring in Philosophy and Economics. This is his second year competing on the Oral Advocacy team. He is excited to be one of the assistant OA coaches this term and help his fellow teammates. Beyond Moot, he enjoys board games, hikes, and the great indoors.
Amani Creamer, Assistant Coach of Brief Writing
Amani Creamer is a third-year studying Fundamentals. This is her third year competing on the Brief Writing team. She is excited to expand the scope of competitions for the team, and to work on more widely applicable legal research and writing. Outside of Moot, Amani loves exploring Chicago, learning about CIA conspiracy theories, and searching for the best chocolate cake she can.

Dana Lowitt, Vice President of Community and Social Life
Dana Lowitt is a second-year studying Economics and Astrophysics. She joined the Brief Writing team this fall. She is super excited to serve as Vice President of Community and Social Life, and help the team bond and eat pizza! Dana loves calamari, Suits, noise-canceling headphones, and underwater basket weaving.
