The Campus and Student Life website has a comprehensive list of these services, and should frequently be consulted for information beyond what is listed below.

Humanities: The Division of Humanities provides support to the music department and its students including guidance on admissions, financial aid, current student policies, enrollment, teaching, graduation, and more.

University Regulations and Policies: Student Manual is the official statement of university policies and regulations, and expected standards of student conduct.

Counseling Center: Student Health and Counseling Services provides mental health care to students. This care includes needs assessment, psychotherapy, psychiatric consultation, academic skills assessment program, support groups, referrals, emergency services, and health promotion.

Disability Services: Student Disability Services works to provide resources, support, and accommodations for all students with disabilities and works to remove physical and attitudinal barriers, which may prevent their full participation in the University community.

Sexual harassment of students, which includes acts of sexual violence, is a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX. The Policy on Harassment, Discrimination, and Sexual Misconduct is available online. For more information, important contact information, or to raise concerns or file a complaint under our policy on discrimination and sexual misconduct or Title IX, please visit the Campus and Student life webpage regarding Title IX.

UChicago Grad: UChicago Grad offers a range of services and resources to enhance the ability of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to navigate their careers at UChicago and beyond.

UChicago HELP: UChicago HELP is comprised of the Dean-on-Call program, the Sexual Assault Dean-on-Call program, and the Bias Education and Support Team (BEST). Additionally, if you are concerned about the physical or mental well-being of a student, you can report your concern online to the University to assist the student in getting intervention resources and strategy.

This collaborative program is made up of a robust set of systems and practices, including some resources that are available 24/7, that support and care for our students. UChicago HELP assists students in navigating academic and personal difficulties, while also ensuring that University community members (such as faculty, staff, and students) can connect students needing help with assistance in a timely manner.
