Ajay Wagh

Ajay Wagh is a pulmonary and critical care physician specializing in interventional pulmonology. His clinical interests include advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy, complex airway disease, and pleural disease. He is interested in developing and investigating minimally invasive devices and techniques used to treat patients with both benign and malignant lung disease.

His research has been published in the American Journal of Physiology. He also co-authored a book chapter in Murray & Nadel’s Textbook of Respiratory Medicine.

Wagh obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, before completing an internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in Philadelphia; a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus; and an interventional pulmonology fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Most recently, he practiced at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Memphis, where he served on the medical staff leadership committee and acted as site director for the University of Tennessee pulmonary and critical care fellowship program.
