Leili Khorassani

Leili Khorassani specializes in pediatric anesthesiology. Her clinical interests include neonatal perioperative care, patient safety, regional anesthesia, and medical education. She is interested in quality improvement, with projects focusing on perioperative sedation and transport of intubated patients, as well as perioperative neonatal hypothermia.
She has presented her work at the Midwest Anesthesia Resident Conference, the NorthShore University HealthSystem anesthesiology journal club, and the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia Conference.
Khorassani holds a BS in psychiatry with a minor in women’s studies from Loyola University Chicago, where she also competed as a Division I track and field athlete. She earned an MD from Ross University School of Medicine and completed an anesthesiology residency at Rush University Medical Center, as well as a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
