Mark Chottiner is an emergency medicine physician, with a specialized focus in emergency ultrasound. His academic interests include medical student and resident education on point of care ultrasound, with a focus on cardiac ultrasound.
His research has been published in Annals of Emergency Medicine, as well as the American Journal of Emergency Medicine.
Chottiner received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He undertook his emergency medicine residency at the University of Chicago, after which he completed an emergency ultrasound fellowship through a joint program between Cook County Hospital and Rush University Medical Center. He also earned an MS in medical sciences from Drexel University College of Medicine and a BS in general biology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
