Shashwati Pradhan

Shashwati Pradhan specializes in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Her special clinical interests include the management of congenital anomalies, cancer survivorship, and oncofertility. She also specializes in a wide range of common and complex pediatric and adolescent gynecology, including pediatric vulvovaginal diseases, menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery for pelvic and adnexal masses.

Her research has been published in the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and Journal of Pediatric Surgery.

Pradhan obtained her MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, serving as chief administrative resident. Finding an interest in the pediatric population during her residency, she subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric and adolescent gynecology at the National Institutes of Health and Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC.
