Yousuf Kyeso

Yousuf Kyeso is a clinical transplant nephrologist with interest in kidney transplant recipient evaluation, living kidney donation, simultaneous pancreas–kidney and liver–kidney transplant care, and management of immunosuppressive medications. His academic focus is in cardiovascular disease outcomes of kidney transplant recipients. He is also interested in studying noninvasive methods of detecting kidney transplant rejection and predicting long-term survival.
He has presented his research at meetings of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation. His work has been published in the American Journal of Kidney Diseases.
Kyeso received his MD from the University of Jordan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Rochester General Hospital, as well as fellowships in nephrology and transplant nephrology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the National Kidney Foundation, and the American Society of Transplantation.
