Please join us on Thursday, November 10 and Friday, November 11 for a lecture and workshop with
LEONARD BARKAN

Class of 1943 Professor and Chair of the Department of Comparative Literature, Princeton University.

LECTURE: “Michelangelo: Scribbles, Doodles, Poetry.”
Thursday, November 10 at 4:30 pm in the Social Sciences Tea Room (201). A reception will follow the lecture.

WORKSHOP: Selections from Unswept Floor: Food Culture and High Culture, Antiquity and Renaissance.
Friday, November 11 at 1 pm, in Rosenwald 405. Lunch will be provided.

NOTE: The workshop paper, to be read in advance, is accompanied by a set of images, to be viewed in advance.
