Meet Our Team

Tomás (He/Him) is from Buenos Aires and is in his first year of BA in Computer Science and Public Policy. He has been with the RCC since fall of 2023. In his free time, Tomás enjoys playing guitar, watching movies, and playing soccer.

Ashton (He/Him) is from Washington, D.C. and is in his third year of BA in Computer Science and Economics with Specialization in Data Science. He has been with RCC since the summer of 2023. In his free time, Ashton enjoys playing chess and video games. 

Alumni

Arleth (She/Her) was part of the RCC Student Staff Team from Fall 2021 – Spring 2023. She graduated University of Chicago in 2023 with a BASc in Computer Science to pursue a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Utah. 

Katy (She/Her) was part of the RCC Student Staff Team from Winter 2023 – Spring 2023. She has MS in Computational Analysis and Public Policy (MSCAPP) from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. 

Stancy (She/Her) is from Shanghai and was in her second and final year of MS in Computational and Applied Mathematics when joined RCC. She was with RCC from the fall of 2022 to summer 2023. In her free time, Stancy enjoys cooking & exploring restaurants, photography, and playing with cats. 

Sean (He/Him) is from Chicago and was in his second year of BA in Computer Science and Economics with Specialization in Data Science when joined RCC. He was with RCC from the summer of 2023 to Spring 2024. In his free time, Sean enjoys playing ping pong, tennis, chess, and the violin. 

Francesca (she/her) is from San Carlos, CA, and joined RCC in her second year of MS in Computational Analysis and Public Policy. She was with RCC from the Fall of 2023 to Spring 2024. Francesca enjoys spending time by the lake and learning new skills on the trapeze in her free time. 

Antony (She/Her) is from Uganda (Africa), and she joined RCC as a student of MA in Public Policy at Harris. She was with RCC from the Fall of 2023 to Spring 2024. She enjoys learning new things through the Internet and listening to church music in her free time.

Ruka (She/Her) hails from Tokyo and became a valuable part of the RCC team during her third year of pursuing a BA in Biological Sciences and Economics, with a focus on Business. She contributed to the team from summer 2023 through winter 2025. Outside of her academic and professional work, Ruka loves to express her creativity through cooking, playing the flute, and composing music. 

Polly (she/her), originally from LA, was with the RCC during Fall 2024 quarter while in her fourth year studying Computer Science and Environment, Geography, and Urbanization. During her time with RCC, Polly contributed her passion for technology and environmental studies. In her free time, she enjoys rowing, biking, and spending time outdoors.

Esslam (he/him), originally from Egypt, was with the RCC from Fall 2023 until Winter 2025 while pursuing his BS in Computer Science. During his time with RCC, Esslam contributed as a first-year student and brought enthusiasm for technology and learning. In his free time, he enjoys boxing and exploring new languages.
