The REACT Family Advisory Board (FAB) meets on a quarterly basis to ensure that REACT is consumer-driven and responsive to the needs of families. The REACT FAB is comprised of patients and family members who have been affected by community violence. Topics of particular interest to the FAB include:
- Patient and family outreach
- Changing the prevailing narrative about youth affected by community violence
- Patient/family support groups
- Outreach materials
- Message of hope for patients/families
- Patient survey/program evaluation
- Program expansion/adding funding streams
